HMRC Helpline

As announced in the 2020 Budget, HMRC have opened a new helpline to support businesses which concerned about paying their tax due to coronavirus (COVID-19).

The helpline can be accessed on 0800 0159 559.

Other Help earmarked for Businesses :

Coronavirus business interruption loan scheme up to £2m per loan.

To abolish business rates for retail businesses for this year and extend scheme to leisure businesses not currently covered. Long term review of rates in autumn budget.

£10,000 cash grant for small businesses who already get rates’ relief.

£5bn emergency response fund on top of other plans providing “fiscal loosening” worth £18bn.
